Excuse me .. AMNESTY INC accuses Hamas???

Amnesty International accuses Hamas of torturing, killing Palestinians in new report on Gaza conflict | Fox News
Amnesty International accused Hamas militants Wednesday of abducting, torturing, and carrying out summary executions of Palestinians during last year's conflict in the Gaza Strip.

We have never before seen AMNESTY point the finger at anyone but Israeli's in the Mid-East Conflict.   Those  "Hamas Militants" must have done some seriously Bad Shit to be cited by A.I.

Or is there some dissension in the TransNational Progressive Love-Fest?

(Enquiring People want to know.  *_I_* want to know!)

It's extremely rare for the Transnational Liberal Progressive Community (hey, they chose the label, not me!) to target people who actually choose to unibomb buses and schools and places of worship in non-combat moments to be The Bad Guys.  Usually, AMNESTY INC points the fingers at the Israeli's because they are mean to Palestinians.

(You know, the Israeli's allow Palestinians to become citizens, and vote, and not get their women whipped because their burkas are too short, and all that oppressive shit?  Unlike HAMAS Dudes.)

So when Amnesty, Inc. accuses Hamas of the same stuff that Amnesty, Inc. has been accusing the Israeli's of for decades, it's like .....
.. uh ...

I don't know.  My mind is too boggled to present cogent thoughts.

You think it through.  Let me know if you can figure it out, okay?

Gun Sales Surge in St. Louis Suburbs Ahead of Jury's Ferguson Decision - NBC News.com

"We're selling everything that's not nailed down," (gun store owners declare .. which may prove to be an economic boon to save Colt Manufacturing LLC from bankruptcy.)

It's an old story, reminiscent of the surge in gun sales when Barack Obama was elected President.

You never need a gun, until you really need one.  That's the story.

Apparently, folks in the Saint Louis area expect they will 'really need one'.

Why?

Riots, of course.   Also known as "Civic Disturbances" (not to be confused with "Civil Unrest" because there's nothing 'civil' about a Race Riot), the population expects that police officer Whatshisname will be acquitted of murder charges, and the fine, gentle Citizens (much like Michael Brown was a 'gentle giant'?) will be tossing beer barrels, overturning police cruisers and torching Korean grocery stores.

Unless the Koreans have their AK47's handy.  Which may evince more protection of private property than will the PO-lice and their MRAPs (or whatever ...)

THIS JUST IN:

  1. Islam is the Nation of Peace!
  2. Obama to enforce Immigration Laws!
  3. "Global Warming" is now "Global Cooling"
Well, one out of three ain't bad, in the Teens of the 21st Century.

File this under: "What a Maroon!"

It's not the Twin Towers, but ...

New drone strike in Yemen kills 55 Al Qaeda militants | Fox News:
(April 21, 2014)
A suspected U.S. drone strike in southern Yemen killed 55 militants Monday, in the third deadly attack on an Al Qaeda training camp in the area in several days. Yemen's interior ministry says among those killed in an hours-long campaign of strikes on the camp in the rugged mountains of Mahfad between Abyan, Shabwa and al-Bayda provinces were three senior members of Al Qaeda. The ministry said the identification process for those killed is ongoing.

It's not the Twin Towers, but it's a good start.

I hope THIS was not the same strike!

Iranian Grad Student at Georgia Tech’s Homemade Bombs

Wanted: Answers On Iranian Grad Student at Georgia Tech’s Homemade Bombs:
("The College Fix", March 3, 2014)

Conservative news watchers want more answers on why an Iranian grad student at Georgia Tech nearly burned himself to death making homemade bombs inside his apartment. The incident happened in early February, but gained new steam over the weekend after Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit and Jim Treacher at The Daily Caller posted items on the explosion, which sent Saamer Akhshabi to the hospital with third-degree burns over 90 percent of his body.
Further information from the article at "The College Fix":
According to First Coast News, “Atlanta police (say) … lighter fluid and a charred pillow and mattress were found inside the apartment, along with the Molotov cocktail and several plastic bottles filled with gasoline and kerosene.
“Akhshabi was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital,” the report states. “His biography on Georgia Tech’s website says he’s a PhD student in the school’s College of Computing and attended the University of Tehran in his native Iran before coming to Georgia.”
Akhshabi must have attended the same bomb-making school, in Iraq, where the instructor blew up his entire class on February 10, 2014.  (Reported at "Jihad Watch"; which article itself is worth a read.)

Iraqi Bombers Bomb Selves; Unexpected Consequences Ensue

BBC News - Iraq militants 'killed by own bomb':
(February 10, 2014)

At least 21 insurgents have been killed in central Iraq after a car bomb was detonated accidentally, officials say. The explosion occurred in the early afternoon on a desert road, about 20km (12 miles) from the city of Samarra, security sources told the BBC. The explosives-filled vehicle was being escorted from the insurgents' compound to a main road when it blew up.

The expression "Hoist by his own petard" comes immediately to mind.

Sweet!

I Agree with John Kerry!

Terrorist Attack at Westgate Shopping Mall in Nairobi, Kenya:

Today's terrorist massacre of so many innocents is a heartbreaking reminder that there exists unspeakable evil in our world which can destroy life in a senseless instant. I want to express my deepest condolences - and the condolences of our entire nation - to the families and friends of the victims in Nairobi today. While the casualty count is still to be determined, we know already that there are at least 30 innocent men, women, and children dead and 60 injured, including several American citizens. We have offered our assistance to the Government of Kenya and stand ready to help in any way we can.
[emphasis added]

How refreshing it is that America's Premier Idiot (save "The One") has acknowledged that these mass shootings are the logical consequence of Evil People doing Evil, rather than the preposterous example of guns driving good people into a killing frenzy.

Is it possible that John Kerry has been driven sane by a shopping mall slaughter committed on somebody else's soil?

No, I don't think so either.  It's all just more Politics

DC Sniper: J.A. Muhammad Dies Whining

John A. Mahummad, the "D.C. Sniper", is dead.

And good riddance to him.

You probably remember that he and his adolescent side-kick, Lee Malvo, sniped random citizens of the Washington, D.C. area for several weeks before they were caught thanks to a citizen's phone call to the police "on suspicion of" being the people the police were eager to apprehend. (If it's a citizen, can they be "profiling"?)

But at the last few hours of his life, there was one final ironic item which deserves to be mentioned, if only to illustrate the huge gap between reality and Political Correctness, as exemplified by one of Mahummad's attorneys, Jon Sheldon.

I mentioned this during an idle moment at this weekend's ARPC match, and my squad members found it difficult to believe.

In the last hours of Muhammad's life, his attorney complained that the sentence was to be executed on November 10 ... the day before Veteran's Day. Apparently, Sheldon found it egrigious that Muhammad, a veteran of the Gulf War, would not be allowed to celebrate Veterans' Day before he was executed for the random murders of several innocent American civilians.

And several Supreme Court judges agreed, to some degree:

Although the execution will come seven years after the shootings, it will be less than six years after a jury found him guilty of capital murder.

Supreme Court justices John Paul Stevens, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor objected to the court's haste in declining Muhammad's case Monday, saying it "highlights once again the perversity of executing inmates before their appeals process has been fully concluded."

Stevens, writing for the three, said Virginia had short-circuited the process by scheduling Muhammad's execution for Tuesday night, earlier than the court would normally have reviewed his petition.

"By denying Muhammad's stay application, we have allowed Virginia to truncate our deliberative process on a matter -- involving a death row inmate -- that demands the most careful attention," Stevens wrote.

He said he did not disagree with the court's ultimate decision that Muhammad's petition did not warrant the court's consideration.

After the court made its decision, Jon Sheldon, part of the team representing Muhammad, expressed a similar concern about the rapid pace of the review.

"In its effort to race John Allen Muhammad to his death before his appeals could be pursued, the state of Virginia will execute a severely mentally ill man, who also suffered from Gulf War syndrome, the day before Veterans Day," he said.

[emphasis added]

We do respect and honor our military veterans, but there is a limit to this. Military service is no excuse for murder, especially under the circumstances which characterized the predations of John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo.

Speaking as a veteran, my honor is besmirched by this man and this boy. Shooting unarmed civilians is not a legitimate act of war; it is, rather, an act of terrorism which conforms with the definition of terrorism.
1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.
2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.
3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.
The goal of these two villains, in my opinion, was nothing less than to establish "... the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization." The John and Lee show had no apparent purpose above mayhem and intimidation.

To have allowed John Allen Muhammad to live to celebrate Veterans' Day would be to imply honors which he did not deserve.

I'm glad he's dead. He worked for his punishment, he earned it, and earlier would have been better. To me, delaying his much-deserved death for seven years was an undeserved delay of justice.

That he coerced his young protege' to acts of violence is not the least villainy of which he is guilty.

Fitna

(NTSF: (Not Safe For Work)

Or Home.

Or anywhere.

Fifteen minutes of shame.

Geert Wilders finally found a host.

UPDATE: 28-MAR-2008
I didn't see this coming: Live Leak has removed the FITNA film, and replaced it with an explanation.

That is, they had received so many lethal threats that they felt compelled to remove the film. They had intended its presentation to be a strike for freedom of speech, but "... in the end, the price was too high".

I'll let you imagine the source of the threats. My personal opinion is that the Radical Islamists in Britain and around the world reacted in what may be considered a by-now-predictable manner.

The result is that the statement of Geert Wilders has been silenced by the outrageous actions of a barbaric mob.

No, I was wrong. That was the effect. The result is that his implied condemnation of their barbarism has been proven by their own actions.

My greatest regret is that I had the opportunity to download the film, and it never occurred to me at the time that it would so speedily be censored by the murderous mob.

... so I went to You Tube, and found 'another version' of the film.

This is not identical to the LiveLeak version I presented here yesterday. I noted some significant differences.

First, although this version is identified on You Tube as 'the official English version', it is not. It's titled in a Germanic language, with English titles superimposed.

Also, the scenes are not as I remembered. There was much more footage in at least two segments ... the 9/11 sequence at the beginning, and at least one clerical rant half-way through. The beheading scene actually includes the raising of the decapitated head, which was mercifully absent in the earlier version (and I do wish I had not been exposed to that abomination.) The film was 5 minutes shorter than the earlier version, and some other scenes were also longer. I can't tell you what was absent, because I only watched the earlier version a half-dozen times during composition of this article.

Finally, the last few minutes were different. The earlier described the sound as 'ripping a page out of a telephone book' while this version describes it as 'ripping a page out of a book' with no more attempt to emphasize that it was NOT the result of actually damaging a Quaran. (sp)

I would rather have found an exact copy of the version I presented earlier, but I will be satisfied with this version.

And I DID download this version, before it can be 'removed' from the host.

You can download the 24MB 'FLV-format' ("Flash Video") file here. You may need to download FLV (free) or Real Player software (not so free) to play it. (You may need to download and install Java to play it too, if you don't already have it installed.)

But play it you can, and as of now the Radical Islamists can't shut down your right to hear speech which they would deny you.

UPDATE: 31-MAR-2008
Yuri at The Real Gun guys was more a realist than I was; he downloaded the original English version of the video. You can see it here.

I'm not sure that this film would ever have been considered very important to anyone, until the Islamists made it an issue by their insane rhetoric and death threats. They have, once again, made themselves more despicable than any "blasphemy" which may or may not be contained in the video. (Actually, there's nothing new in the video ... it's just a recap of the atrocities, threats and barbaric behavior of which we are already too aware.)

If you choose not to view the video, you might drop by there anyway and read the few comments.
