Hillary Clinton: Australia Gun Ban 'Worth Looking At'

We are SO HAPPY that The Hillary-Ceast was not elected President!

During the 2015 Presidential Campaign, Hillary Clinton ( in a response to a question) suggested that "The Australian Solution is worth looking at".

Hillary Clinton: Australia Gun Ban 'Worth Looking At':
The Australian government as part of trying to clamp down on the availability of…weapons offered a good price for buying hundreds of thousands of guns and basically clamped down going forward, in terms of having more of a background check approach–more of a permitting approach.
In the actual event, although the Australian government seemed to offer "a good price", there was no good price; since the firearms (previously legal) were soon to be "no longer legal", the firearms were confiscated at a pennys-on-the-dollar price because ... they were arbitrarily "illegal", and nobody could legally buy them.    There WAS no market.

So the expectation that they were bought "at a good price" was just a politically mandated confiscation.

Nothing more, nothing less.

And this was what Hillary Rodham Clinton expected to impose on the (previously free and constitutionally protected against "confiscation without compensation" American Public.

During her 2015 campaign, "The Hillary Beast" made it a part of her political platform that firearms confiscation from legal gun owners seemed to be A Good Idea ... one which was legitimized by the Australian Confiscation.

Had hillary been elected, honest Americans who possessed firearms would have been treated like criminals.  Their property would have been confiscated, they would have been held up to public ridicule by the Liberal Press when they protested, and America would have sunk deeper into the liberal abyss.

This was an unconstitutional action which has been espoused by liberal websites, including:

The Daily KOS

The Huffington Post

... and every other Liberal anti-gun website which believes that the4 Second Amendment is SOoooo 19th Century!

One wonders whether the same people would be so eager to undermine the FIRST amendment, which allows them to publish unpopular essays.

(This one is a good example)

NRA Mocks Kim Kardashian - YouTube

The Huffington Post is the entry point for a series of videos which constitute an attack on the NRA:

The trail of posts is difficult to follow because the series of links from one article to the next are so convoluted that you really need to WANT to follow the subtle attack on the Second Amendment rights, as supported by the National Rifle Association, before you find yourself at the most nefarious attacks on the NRA.

I think you need to see the video to get the points which were actually made.

I would prefer to present a chart of the links,  but frankly I'm too old and the trail from the original Huffington Post) is too complex to be easy to define.  Perhaps it would be best to start with the original article (see link above) and see where the various embedded links take you.

The political positions of the National Rifle Association were not specifically presented during this sequence..

The Huffington Post viewpoint, however, was prominently presented.  Without a timely response from the NRA.

(The philosophy of the NRA, incidentally, is this:

The National Rifle Association of America (NRA) is an American nonprofit organization which advocates for gun rights. Founded in 1871, the group has informed its members about firearm-related bills since 1934, and it has directly lobbied for and against legislation since 1975. It is also the oldest continuously operating civil rights organization in the United States.

Founded to advance rifle marksmanship, the modern NRA continues to teach firearm competency and safety. It instructs civilians and law enforcement, youths and adults, in various programs. The organization also publishes several magazines and sponsors competitive marksmanship events.
Membership surpassed 5 million in May 2013,
Observers and lawmakers see the NRA as one of the top three most influential lobbying groups in Washington.  Over its history the organization has influenced legislation, participated in or initiated lawsuits, and endorsed or opposed various candidates.

Compare that with this video:

NRA Mocks Kim Kardashian - YouTube:

Published on Oct 4, 2016:
The NRA wants to make a political point to Kim Kardashian, when she was just the victim of armed robbery. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian, hosts of The Young Turks, break it down. ( deleted links; go to the video
“The National Rifle Association decided it was appropriate to needle Kim Kardashian West about her position on gun control after the reality TV star was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. Kardashian West was robbed early Monday morning by armed thieves dressed as police officers. Her representatives said she was “badly shaken but physically unharmed” during the incident, which took place at a private apartment she was staying at during Paris Fashion Week. As many public figures offered support for the celebrity on Monday morning, the NRA instead seized the chance to argue against the efficacy of background checks.”Read more here:Hosts: Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian Cast: Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian
actually, this plethora of links is not necessary.  Going back to THE ORIGINAL VIDEO you will find sufficient comments to describe the commentators' dislike of the NRA:

THE BOTTOM LINE:

The NRA is The Bad Guy ...

... not the egotistical celebrity who publicized that she traveled with millions of dollars of jewelry and made a target of herself:

... not the criminals who assaulted her, terrorized her, gagged her, and stole her millions of ... (yadda yadda yadda) ...
... and certainly not the very pricey security dudes who were curiously absent when she really needed them.

No .. according to the EuroCentrals (who were responsible for her security) .. it was the National Rifle Association of America  who is The Bad Guy.

( Need we point out that the NRA is located on a different continent from which the robbery was perpetrated?) ... who is responsible for this heinous action upon a do-nothing celebrity who can restore her jewel box in the next month?  Could it be .. herself???)

And the NRA is currently being chided for asking if the thieves passed a background check.

Funny, when Liberals make a joke, everybody 'gets it';  but when a conservative organization makes a joke, every liberal in the world laughs at the NRA, not at the joke.

Have liberals no sense of humor?

Sorry ... I got so wrapped up in the story, I forgot that Liberals have no sense of humor for a joke which is not pointed at a Conservative!

Kerry: Still "Unfit For Command"

Kerry: Media Would 'Do Us All a Service' If They Didn't Cover Terrorism as Much | Fox News Insider:
During his first official visit to Bangladesh, Secretary of State John Kerry held a press conference and addressed the threat of terrorism. Kerry offered a novel way to combat terrorism, suggesting that the media would “do us all a service” if they didn’t cover it “quite as much.

Kerry, who proposed himself and was awarded a Purple Heart for 'a hangnail',  (actually a scratch, when he fired an M79 Grenade Launcher at a non-target which was too close, and suffered a slight wound from his own round)  has chosen to exercise the duties of his office as Secretary of State by placing the blame for the world's Terrorism Woes on the media ... he sees the problem not as an indication of too much violence by terrorists, but too much coverage by the press.

In the meantime, Kerry has nothing to offer as a resolution to the world-wide problem of terrorism.

Well, that's not his job, is it?
“No country is immune from terrorism," Kerry said at a press availability in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on Monday. "It’s easy to terrorize. Government and law enforcement have to be correct 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But if you decide one day you’re going to be a terrorist and you’re willing to kill yourself, you can go out and kill some people. You can make some noise. Perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn’t cover it quite as much. People wouldn’t know what’s going on.”
Since Kerry seems to think that his job is too hard, perhaps President Obama might consider finding some one who is 'fit to command'.   Certainly, some idiot who thinks the 'solution' is for the public to not "know what's going on" doesn't strike most readers as someone who has proposed a real solution for a problem which he doesn't even understand.

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton reacted on America's Newsroom, slamming Kerry's comments: “If you really think that less publicity would help reduce the terrorist threat, then really after you should apply for a job after you are secretary of state to be editor-in-chief of “The Onion”,” Bolton said, referring to the satirical newspaper.
There is an unsubstantiated rumor going around that Kerry applied for a job with "The Onion", but his application was rejected as being insufficiently credible.

Reverse Sticker-Shock

Amy Schumer: 'I will leave the country if Donald Trump is elected President':
Amy Schumer has said she will leave the country if Donald Trump is elected US President. The actress and comedian is currently in the UK as part of a tour. "My act will change because I'll need to learn to speak Spanish because I will move to Spain, or somewhere. It's beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It's too crazy," she said.
As of this moment Trump has MY vote.   If it saves just one child ....

When GW Bush was running for president,  HUGE Hollywood Stars (Baldwin, Streissand) made the same promise.   Bush was elected, and Baldwin DIDN'T LEAVE THE COUNTRY!   That was such a huge disappointment to me.

I wonder what in the make-believe world of Hollywood Celebrities makes them so arrogant that they believe 'real people' really care what they say, think, or do.

PAST HISTORY:
Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon says "anywhere but here" if Republican John McCain wins November's election. She says she will "be checking out a move to Italy. Maybe Canada, I don't know. We're at an abyss."
However, celebrities in the past do not have a stellar track record of making good on threats to flee if their candidate loses. Numerous stars vowed to pack up if George W. Bush won the 2000 election, including Barbara Streisand, Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin and even Sarandon's long-time boyfriend Tim Robbins.
All still currently reside here in the U.S.

A Liberal can no more be impartial than a snake can be thankful

NJ2AS President Assaulted by Congresswoman's Chief of Staff: West Orange, New Jersey – (Ammoland.com)-
While attending Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman’s Gun Violence Prevention Roundtable on June 29, 2016, New Jersey Second Amendment Society President, Alexander Roubian, peacefully attempted to ask why she would be advocating for stricter sentencing and laws for firearms while at the same time her sons served a fraction of their sentence for armed robbery.
(H/T: Codrea at War On Guns)

As Roubian began to ask his question, Colemon realized the point of his preamble and interrupted, saying that he would not talk about this during the session!

When Roubian protested, he was forceably escourted from the premises ... a house of worship.

Which gives a whole new meaning to the term "Violence Prevention".

Apparently, violence is permissible if inflicted by the lackeys of the congresscritter

The over-reaction should be excused, because (a) the chaircritter was a Liberal and (b) she had the muscle and (c) she cares no more for the First Amendment than she does for the Second Amendment.

Face it.  Liberals are snakes in the grass.  They don't like to be called "Hypocrites", because as they see it they are only acting according to their political (and personal) nature.

Roubian was  evicted because he just didn't understand the way things work around Snakes, so please get off their grass!

Democrats call for 'family sit-ins' on guns

Democrats call for 'family sit-ins' on guns | Washington Examiner:
(6/27/16 4:14 PM)
House Democrats on Wednesday plan to stage a "national day of action" against gun violence that will feature "family sit-ins," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., announced. Pelosi said the action would "carry forward the momentum" from the Democrats' takeover of the House floor last week. Democratic lawmakers staged a 25-hour sit-in which included attempts to disrupt the floor schedule and votes.

Oh, yes.   The Pity Party strikes again.

They demanded the GOP leadership allow consideration of two gun control bills, but relinquished the floor hours after the GOP adjourned the House for a week-long recess. Their efforts gained them praise and attention on social media, where lawmakers broke the House rules by streaming their sit-in live from the floor of the chamber.
Yes, the Democratic Party certainly raised the Moral Level, or something, with their catered photo opportunity  (illegal) strike.

Well, the house doesn't 'do' filibuster, so I guess they had to do something ... although when Senate Republicans last filibustered a bill, the Democrats complained that the Republicans were 'just mean!' .  (And then kicked sand at them)
Democrats also used the event to ask for money from donors.
Oh.  Okay, that explains everything.
