Okay for me, but not for you: California Style

Kamala Harris slams Congress for failing to pass gun control laws - LA Times:

Harris, Atty Gen for California (home of some of the newest and most outrageous Gun Control Laws in the nation) embarrassed herself last week when she chided Congress "... " for failing to pass gun control legislation after the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012."

Asked if she had shot a gun before or if she hunts, Harris stumbled over her words before saying she had shot a pistol. “I'm a good marksman,” she said. “That’s it. I'm not going any further with this. You have just broken news.”
I'm not sure if I'm more amused by her hypocrisy, or admiring of her honesty.

Hmmm ... no.  Hypocrisy wins, hands down, every time.

At least she acknowledged her experience, which is a positive thing.  Most politicos form opinions without actual experience;  She said she tried it, and she was good at it.   (She says.)

ALL OF WHICH leads us to surmise that she is one of David Codrea's "Only Ones" who can try it, and not be soiled by the experience.

Harris is an elected official.  In California.

So, you can believe as much of that as you wish.

(NOTE:  I'm only just now defined a new Label: "Liberal Hypocrisy")

I should have done that years ago, but by now it would have been SO overworked.....!

How could anyone disbelieve a female, lawyer, attorney general and resident of California? The very idea is, well repulsive. Bless her heart, she may be the reincarnation of Annie Oakley, or she may have channeled Annie at one time or another. After all, we have a presidential candidate who has bragged about channeling Elenore Roosevelt.
