For one thing very high taxes happen.
Higher taxes are necessary.
So many foreign born people are "migrating" to America, and they don't bring useful skills. They are automatically receiving welfare and other benefits ... Our "Send me your poor and homeless" society needs to tax wage-earners more severely to pay for the increased demand on our "Social Welfare" programs for those "yearning to be free".
Welcome to America! If you're over 65, you get Social Security. Never contributed a dime to the program? No problem, we have lots of people here who have plugged 10% of their income into the program for 50 years, we have LOTS of money to give you!
